Learning and assessment


The assessment process

Assessment instruments collectively ensure coverage of all assessment criteria within each course unit and provide opportunities for the evidencing of all the grade descriptors. Each course unit and the final project work are subject to credit-weights that correspond to a mandatory number of guided learning hours that students are required to spend on their learning activities. Detailed information regarding credit weighting and guided learning hours required can be found at the individual course unit and project work specification.



Summative assessments

Summative assessments for course units enables EdHat International to ensure that the students have been able to produce evidence to meet assessment criteria related to the learning outcomes. All course units within the International qualifications summative assessments include one assignment and one end of semester examination. To earn the EdHat International Higher Diploma qualification, students are also required to complete the final project work. The evaluation will be based on the following criteria:
